Muddy Explorers
Enter a magical world of adventure…
Muddy Explorers is a stay and play group like no other
Based at The Oaks’ well-established Forest School, each session is designed to encourage child-led learning through curiosity, exploration and wonder. Muddy Explorers is an extension of our unique approach to early years learning here at Birmingham Day Nurseries, which empowers children to develop at their own pace in a safe, secure, and nurturing environment.
What happens at Muddy Explorers?
Nestled in leafy woodland, your little one can let their imagination run wild.
They could make mud pies in our Muddy Boots Café, go on a bug hunt, or let their creativity thrive in The Mud Gallery. They could even get up close and personal with nature on a Forest Trail, whilst stopping off at our Fairy Village and Badger Bank along the way. At Muddy Explorers, the adventures are endless.
The programme is suitable for the youngest of explorers, with dedicated activities for children between six months and five years old.
What makes Muddy Explorers special?
No session is ever the same. Each week’s activities are based on a specific theme for unique adventures every time. Little ones will be inspired by experienced and fully qualified Level 3 Forest School Leaders. We’re part of one of the only award-winning Forest Schools in south Birmingham. Children get to play with natural and authentic materials, so they can develop the skills they need for real life. We’re open to all, giving every child a chance to enjoy the magic of a Forest School setting.
