Staff who care

Staff who care

The day nursery team: experienced, approachable and here for you

Our staff choose to work here because they’re dedicated to caring for young children – and you’ll see that it shows. We’re proud of our happy team of experienced professionals.

Nursery Practitioners all have the NVQ Childcare level 3 diploma or above

Every member of staff at The Elms and The Oaks – including administrative and kitchen staff – is trained in Paediatric First Aid. That means your child will be in an environment where safety is a priority and risk of accidents is minimised. If an accident does happen, or your child needs first aid due to medical conditions such as allergies, you can trust they’ll receive immediate and appropriate care. Safeguarding and Food Hygiene training is regular and always up to date, so you can trust how seriously we take our responsibilities. Carer-to-child ratios are carefully considered, so your child will always get the care and attention they deserve.

The members of staff are friendly and very professional. They clearly love working with babies and young children and it shows.

Being a parent is hard work. We want to share our knowledge and experience with you, which is why we run regular workshops, giving you an extra boost of confidence in your own childcare. And everyone in our team gets support and encouragement to develop their skills and expertise. That means they know how much we value them – and you know we’re always working hard to provide the very best care.
