Partnerships with parents

Birmingham Day Nurseries: Working together

It’s so important to have a mutually trusting, communicative and co-operative relationship with everyone caring for your child.

That’s why when you join the nursery, you’ll be given a key person who will be your child’s primary carer: to help them, and you, build that essential secure bond.

Support is always given to both children and parents and the atmosphere is one of kindness, cohesion and personal achievement – no matter how big or small.

Follow your child’s Learning Journey

Your child’s Learning Journey will be celebrated with a record which you can access at any time via the Parentzone app. Our Parent Corner sign-in zone for parents and carers means you’ll have access to up-to-date information about recent activities, upcoming events and themes, and much more. And of course, if you’d ever prefer to have a printed document or information in translation, we’re happy to help.

Being a parent isn’t easy. Our regular parent workshops will give you practical help with all the tough stuff – like toilet training, healthy eating and supporting your child’s emotional wellbeing through transitional stages as they grow. We’ll also share fun ideas for activities you can try out at home, in our Forest School and through seasonal workshops.

You know your child best, and we’ll always listen to you. We work in partnership with you, with the shared goal of supporting your child’s development and wellbeing.

The members of staff always went above and beyond what we asked for and were very welcoming and supportive.

At Birmingham Day Nurseries, we acknowledge and respect that family can mean many different things. If you’re taking parental responsibility for a child, you’ll receive the same support and understanding as any other parent. You’ll find more information in our Terms and Conditions.

Many thanks to the parents who let us share their thoughts with you throughout the website.
